VALORANT NEWS | THE 2023 VCT PACIFIC LEAGUE TEAMS HAVE BEEN UNVEILED!
October 26, 2022THE 2023 VCT PACIFIC LEAGUE TEAMS : In April, we offered you a glimpse of the future of VALORANT esports, when international leagues will include weekly top-tier action between the finest players in the world and the best organizations.
In August, we added details on how the regional Challengers circuit will expand, providing more chances for promising young athletes to compete on the international stage. The top teams in each area would get a fresh opportunity under this method to advance to the next level of competition. We spent a great deal of time deliberating, since there were many excellent clubs that might have joined the Pacific League in 2023, but we are now ready to announce the 10 teams that will make up the league that year.

WHAT WE REQUIRED OF TEAMS
We came to a consensus on a long list of requirements that all new teams must meet before joining us. For example:
All that VCT does is centered on the VALORANT fan base. Because of this, we focused mostly on making sure that the selected teams are well-liked across the area.
We made sure that every team that joined us was committed to VALORANT esports for the long haul and ready to collaborate with us so that we could give the future its greatest chance of success.
Our ideal partners will have the same drive and enthusiasm for VALORANT’s future as we have.
HOW DID WE SELECT THE TEAMS?

We sent a briefing deck to interested groups, and the selected teams had the chance to put together presentations; those with the strongest proposals were then asked for follow-up interviews. After considering these factors, we settled on 10 teams to join us for the next season and beyond.
We recognize that some of you may be dissatisfied since they do not recognize all of the names on this list. If the other Pacific teams don’t make it through the Challenger Circuit and Ascension competition, they still have a shot at making it to the IL.
As we enter a new era of competition on the VALORANT scene, we could not be more excited to share this news with you. An worldwide competition larger than any in VCT history, Challengers Split 1 will begin the year 2023 with a boom. Upon getting accepted into the league, Riot Games offered each team a special present; stay tuned to their social media for more!
